A lovely blend of Ramie and Linen! Ramie is a sustainable plant fiber sourced from a member of the nettle family. Ramie is known to be "twice as strong" as Linen, making it one of the strongest natural fibers. It maintains it strength even when wet. It is comfortable and breathable much like linen and suitable for hot humid climates. Ramie is ever so slightly scratchier than linen but it does soften with washing, it may take a few washes but can handle washing very well.
This is a mid-weight fabric suitable for shorts, pants, etc.
